He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boardman and Prudence Boardman (Brown); his son Otis Boardman, Jr.; his granddaughter Alysia Sue Powell; and his siblings, James Boardman and Ethel Boardman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Hollinghead (Jay), Caryn Lloyd (Terry) and Catherine Hensley (Emery); his grandchildren, Sarah Brady, Kristen Gilliland (Jack), Amanda Vathauer (Brady) and James Lloyd; his great grandchildren, Addison Brady, Ethan Brady, Caitlin Kahrs (Cody), Benjamin Vathauer, Brooks Vathauer and Raelynn Vathauer; and his brother John Boardman. He is also survived by his two great-great grandchildren and four half-sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wamego Family Worship Center (16445 Cameron Cir, Wamego, KS 66547).
