It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerrol Springer of Westmoreland, Kansas, born in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrol Springer and Lillian Bell Springer (Anderson); and his siblings, Gyle "Bud" Springer, Jean Walla and Ky Reece.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Springer of Westmoreland; his children, Kim Clopton (Robby) of Liberty Hill, Pam Lauer (Joe) of Olsburg and Doug Springer (Jenny) of Wamego; his sisters, Vona Leckey of De Smet, Carolyn Kershaw (Charles) of Young and Pati Casey (Scott) of Westmoreland; his grandchildren, Makynna Hood, Garrison Clopton, Jarrid Lauer (Jana), Laurel Wahl (Chris), Jake Springer and Sara Springer; and his great grandchild Reddick Lauer.
A memorial has been established for the Jerry Springer Memorial Fund to be distributed to the Carnahan Church and Cemetery and other yet to be determined recipients.
