The memory of Verdia Mae Gray of Wellsville, Kansas, born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Johnson and Helen Johnson (Crocker); her husband Kenneth Gray; and her siblings, Judy Farrell and Larry Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Gray (Cindy); her grandchildren, Angela Gray and Cody Gray (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Emmett and Henry Gray; and her brother Chuck Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Paola (305 N Pearl St, Paola, KS 66071). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
