He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Martinez and Jenny Martinez (Valdivia); his wife Marita Martinez; and his brothers, Joe and Bobby Martinez.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gilbert Martinez, Butch Martinez and Michael Martinez; his children, Brandon Martinez (Crissy) of Wellsville, KS, Ben Martinez (Lynn) of Roeland Park, KS, Rachael Schmidt (John) of Parkville, MO and Karista Martinez of Wellsville, KS; his stepson Clinton Jones (Anna) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Derek, Micah and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Jeffy and Bo; and his pet Annabelle. He is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
