It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvin Chaney of Wellsville, Kansas, born in Pryor, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Newton and Rosa Carmen Chaney (Williams); and his siblings, Don Chaney, Joe Chaney and Sharon Chaney.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lee Herbert; his sons, Bob Chaney of Shawnee, KS and David Chaney (Rachel) of Eudora; his brothers, Roy Chaney (Marilyn) of Albuquerque, Richard Chaney (Kathy) of Lawrence and John Chaney (Mary) of Lawrence; and his granddaughter Adison Chaney of Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
