With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Rider of Wellsville, Kansas, born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albun P. Deckert and Mabel Sarah Deckert (Miller); her husband Raymond William Rider; her son Daniel Rider; her stepdaughter Judy Rider; her brother Marvin Deckert; and her sister-in-law Nancy Deckert.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Rider of Olathe, Raymond D. Rider of Blue Springs, Sheila Newbanks (Gerald) of Gardner and Paulette Hamblin of Blue Springs, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ham, Steven Reitmeyer (Jenny), Brook Arnold (Matt), Dylan Rider, Chris Hamblin (Kyndra), Heather Thomas and Sarah Gacutan (Justin); her great grandchildren, Maisy Arnold, Lilian Reitmeyer, Gavin Thomas, Cameron, Kaylee Gacutan, Brynna and Baylee Hamblin; and her brothers, James Deckert (Diane) of Kansas City, Ronald Deckert (Barbara) of Goodyear and Kenneth Deckert of Larned.

The family has made the request that memorial contributions be made in "Loving Memory of Marcia Rider" to a charity of your choice.
