He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Scott and Edith Aline Milroy (McElroy); his siblings, Nellie Perry, Eugene and Gary Milroy; his son James "Jim" Milroy; and his daughter-in-law Gayle Milroy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Richardson; his children, Janice Caruthers (Randy Bailey) of Wellsville and Larry Milroy (Susan Faler) of Emporia; his grandchildren, Jeremy Milroy (Kyla) of Ottawa, Christopher Caruthers (Alli) of Wellsville, Kari Cheever (Lance) of El Dorado, KS, Susan Stueve (Dustain) of Ottawa and Tory Courter of Lawrence, KS; his siblings, Joan Adams (Ron) of Oskaloosa, KS and Robert Milroy (Joan) of Prairie Village; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Milroy of Omaha, NE and Bonnie Milroy of Winchester, KS. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
