Juanita J. Lawson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita J. Lawson of Wellsville, Kansas, who passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry O. Boyce and Rose M. Adkins Boyce; and her husband Lester T. Lawson. She is survived by: her former husband Edward C. "Eddie" Burkert; her children, Edward "Denny" Burkert (Barb) of Emporia and Paula S. Burket Potter (Jim) of Baldwin City; her grandchildren, Jon Burkert of Emporia, Keith Brooks of Wynotte, Travis Potter of Wellsville and Ami Potter Agan of Desota; her great great grandchild Charlie Orsak; and her brother Wilbur (Mary) of Valley Falls. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions go to the Emporia Friends of the Zoo in care of the funeral home.
