He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Frank and Marian Ursella Labert (Cilley); his parents-in-law, Charles and Althea Steed; his brothers, Joseph (Lola Labert), Edwin (Ardella Labert), Marvin (Virginia Labert) and Elwyn (Betty Labert); his daughter Sharon Nuehring; and also Dennis Nuehring.
He is survived by: his wife Berniece Labert of Wellsville, KS; and his children, Donna Jennings (Paul) of Osage, IA, John M Labert of Mountain View, AR, Cheryl Hemann (Mark) of Osage, IA and Rebecca Johnson of Rockdale, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and 2 great great step grandchildren.
