She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex A. Murdoch and Helen M. Murdoch (Murphy); her husband Harry Dayton Matile; and her son Larry D. Matile. She is survived by: her children, Louis Lynn Matile of Merriam, KS, Lois Jean Zielinski of Baldwin City, KS, Allen Jay Matile (Karen) of Ottawa, KS, Donald Karl Matile (Judith) of Fruita, CO, William Joe Matile (Brenda) of Ottawa, KS, Robert Keith Matile of Mound City, KS and Laura Leeann Bishop (Tony) of Wellsville, KS; and her brother Murry Keith Murdoch (Juanita) of Eudora, KS. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
