She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Edwin and Barbara Jean Hoch (Switzer); her spouse Lyle Turner Shields; and her siblings, Patricia Sullivan of Ottawa, Tony Hoch of Lawrence and Gary Hoch of Overland Park.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Erika Given of Shawnee; her son William Shields of Corvallis; her parent-in-law Bill Shields of Wellsville; and also, Shawn Given of Shawnee, Paige of Shawnee, Tristen of Shawnee, Bailey of Shawnee, Avery of Shawnee and Patsy Shields of Wellsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
