He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rhoades and Della Rhoades (Murphy); his son Charles "Dusty" Rhoades, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kathie Rhoades; and his siblings, Martha Martin and Velorus Rhoades.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Colvin of Lawrence; his sons, Kent Rhoades of Independence, MO, Marty Rhoades (Debbie) of Olathe and Craig Rhoades (Linda) of Olathe; and his sister Mary Ann Yokum of Ottawa. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
