He was predeceased by: his parents, Lefo Compton and Louise Mary Compton (Cashier); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his children, Charlie and Phronsie; his wife Phronsie Kay Cowick; and his sister Dee Montgomery of Kansas City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
