She was predeceased by: her parents, John Claude and Ethel Porter (Fairchild); her husband Jack D. Edwards; her daughter Julie Saville; her grandson Daniel Largent; and her great grandchildren, Abagail and Hannah Edgerton.
She is survived by: her children, Jona Sue Higgins (Jim) of Winfield, Kansas, Brian Cook (Lorraine) of Wellington, Kansas and Brett Cook of Wellington, Kansas; her stepchildren, Tom Edwards (Janelle), Richard Edwards (Amber) and Diane Miller (Harvey); her grandchildren, Tiffany Mashak, Adam Edgerton, Jason Johnston, Jarrod Miller, Brandi Hokit, Ashley Cook and Chris LaBlue; and her brother Don Porter.
A memorial has been established in her loving memory to the Wellington Humane Society, PO Box 494, Wellington, Kansas 67152.
