He was predeceased by: his siblings, Otis (Wanda Gilliland), Pauline (Jack Heitman) and Frances (Marvin Colegrove). He is survived by: his grandchild Stacie; his great grandchildren, Bentley Duncan Leverett and Matt; his wife Carol Gilliland of Wellington, Kansas; his children, Beau Gilliland (Stacie) of South Haven, Kansas and Carime Woods (Nick Duncan); his stepsons, Vern Keller (Julie Rowe) and Wes Keller (Stella) of Juneau, Alaska; his grandchildren, Allison Leverett (Matt), Dalton Gilliland, Camdon Gilliland, Auburn and Merritt Woods; his great grandchildren, Bentley Leverett and Aspen Leverett; and his stepgrandchildren, Tempest Keller, Devi Keller, Kira Keller, Ayla Keller, Mackinzie Duncan, Jax Keller, Lincoln Keller and Lanxton Keller.
A memorial has been established in his memory with the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club. Donations can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
