Shirley Irene Schnug Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Irene Schnug (Wellington, Kansas), who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Leroy Weakly and Lavonda Elizabeth Weakly (Ballinger); her husband James L. Schnug; her children, Gary Schnug and Alice Schnug; her great grandchild Bradley Rumsey; and her brothers, Ronald and Raymond Weakly.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Schnug of Riverdale, KS, David Schnug (Jan) of Haysville, KS, Linda Schnug of Riverdale, KS, Pat Schnug of Riverdale, KS and Beverly Schulte of Wichita, KS; her daughter-in-law Kendria Schnug of Elk City, KS; and her siblings, Leroy Weakly of Harper, KS, John Weakly (Clarice) of Cassville, MO, Kenneth Weakly (Susan) of Wichita, KS and Sharon Weakly of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
The family will be present to greet friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. A Memorial has been established with the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center in lieu of flowers.
