He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walton and Nina Walton; his wife Glenda Walton; his siblings, June Armstrong, Lois Martin, John Pringle, Donald Walton and George Walton, Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Donald Pendleton and Roger Scott; and his father-in-law Glenn Scott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ronda Walton of Coweta and Wanda Keith (Craig) of Wellington; his granddaughters, Vanessa Keith of Wichita and Katelyn Keith of Wichita; his daughter Tina Walton of Wellington; his grandson Aaron Norton (Katie) of Wellington; his son John Walton of Wellington; his grandsons, Jake Walton of Wichita and Jack Walton of Wellington; his brother Dale Walton of Franklin; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Pendleton of Tonkawa and Debbie Allen (Larry) of Checotah; his mother-in-law Ruby Scott of Checotah; and his brother-in-law Nick Scott (Jane) of Checotah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loyal friends.
