He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bliss and Frances Eliza Whaley (Black); his wife Donnis Whaley; his grandson Christopher Boston; and his brother Jack Whaley.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Whaley of Wellington, Kansas, Todd Whaley (Karen) of Wellington, Kansas and Greg Whaley (Kolleen) of Omaha, Neb; his grandchildren, Jessica Beebe (Bryson), Megan Plummer (Dylan), Robert T. Whaley, Sarah Schoenefer (Nick), Chandler Whaley, Garrith Whaley, Kelsey Werner, Kellen Werner and Kaley Werner; and his great grandchildren, Illysa Roberts, John Roberts, Devyn Schoenefer, Aviana Beebe and Adley Werner.
