He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Beggs and Veda E. Beggs (Goforth); and his sisters, Janet Sue Beggs, Mary Lou Phillipe and Betty Jean Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Kyle Beggs of Maryville, Missouri, Kevin Beggs (Melinda) of Wellington, Kansas, Karla Defore (Jeff) of Wellington, Kansas and Karra Atkerson (Mark) of Wellington, Kansas; and his siblings, Rita Allnut of Joplin, Missouri and Gary Beggs (Melody) of Smithville, Missouri. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given in his name and loving memory to the Belle Plaine FFA or the Alzheimer's Association.
