He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Davis and Alverta Davis; his son Leslie Dean Davis; his brother Allen Davis; his half-brothers, Ross Davis and Richard Boyles; and his nephew Ricky Lee Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Davis; his daughter Susan Ott of Wellington, Kansas; his grandchildren, Heather Wilder (Zac) of Haven, Kansas, Christopher Ott of Branson Missouri, J. T. Ott (Hayley) of Wichita, Kansas, Justin Davis (Amber Norwood) of Wellington, Kansas and Cody Davis (Keena) of Wichita, Kansas; his great grandchildren, Luke Ott, Jaxson Wilder, Landon Davis, Jayden Davis, Scarlett Davis, Taylin Davis, Lonnie Leo Ott and Landan Campbell; and his cousins, Joanna Cornelsen of Wellington and Dianne Reed of Elk City, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given in his name to the Wellington Humane Society or Good Shepherd Hospice.
