Lila May Welch Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2020, at the age of 101, Lila May Welch (Wellington, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orvil and Myrtle May Metz (Plank); her brothers, Lyle and Lloyd; her spouse Donie Welch; her daughter Kathlee Defore; and her grandchildren, Jeff Defore (Karla), John Defore (Amiee), Jim Hearsch, Patrick Hearsch, Judy Rusk (Mark), Sherry Bordwell (Richard), LeLoni Lyons and Sandra Welch. She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
If attending, please adhere to the current public gathering guidelines by wearing a face mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given in her name and loving memory to the First United Methodist Church of Wellington, Kansas.
