He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Thaine Hunt; his wife Mary Vandeveer of Wichita, Kansas.; his sons, Matthew Brooks, Nathan Hunt and Kaleb Hunt of Wellington, KS.; his mother Carol Norris of Wellington, KS.; his sister Vicki Eggers (Ed) of Genoa, IL.; and his nieces and nephews, Ross Eggers (Jannet) of Niwot, CO., Hillary Shedd (Taylor) of Fort Collins, CO., Emily Scott (Taylor) of Fort Collins, CO., Jaden Starburg of McPherson, KS. and Kilynn Starburg of McPherson, KS..

Then, while in skilled nursing care he was tested positive with COVID-19.
