He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza A. Gandy and Lillie Mae Hawk; his son Virgil Morrison; and his grandson Timothy Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gandy of Wellington, Kansas; and his daughters, Maggie Boettcher of Wellington, Kansas and Carol Rathbun (Tom) of Geneseo, Kansas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established in his loving memory to the American Heart Association.
