He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel L. McComb and Hannah J. McComb (Whitney); his siblings, Steven McComb and Mabel Nadine McComb; and his former wife Dorothy "Dottie" McComb.

He is survived by: his daughter Jerelyn McComb Ramirez (Paul) of St. Mary; his granddaughter Faith Hargrove of Kansas City, Kansas; his daughter Cindy McComb Mirt of Columbia; his grandson Dane Mirt (Brittnee); his great grandchildren, Maybree and Cade; his grandchildren, Tanner Mirt of Columbia, Aaryn Guzman (Greg) of Dallas, Texas and Drew McComb; his great grandchild Kenneth of Chanute, Kansas; his grandsons, Jared and Jacob McComb of Dallas, Texas; his son John McComb (Cammy) of Wellington, Kansas; his granddaughter Hannah Robinson (Devin); his great grandchildren, Aubree and Evelynn of Wellington, Kansas; his granddaughter Carlie McComb of Kansas City, Kansas; his son Mitchell McComb (Kelli) of Wellington, Kansas; his grandchildren, Katie Westcott (Corey) of Denver, Colorado, John McComb (Ashley) and Emilee McComb; his great grandchildren, Owen and Jack; his grandchildren, Abigail McComb, Matthew, Luke McComb, Eliesse McComb and Noah McComb of Wellington, Kansas; his siblings, Ernest McComb (Jean) of Wellington, Kansas, Gayleen Haskin of Wellington, Kansas and Norma Tisher (Kenneth) of Sand Springs; and his friend Esther Briggs of Wellington, Kansas.. He is also survived by five children, seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with the Bryce Day Memorial Foundation.
