Jerry D. Lewallen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry D. Lewallen of Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewallen and Irma Lewallen (Thompson); his wife Betty Lewallen; his son Ron "Bub" Lewallen; and his brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Lewallen.
He is survived by: his sons, Rod Lewallen (Jeanie Murray) of Wellington, Kansas and Richard Lewallen of Wellington; and his grandchildren, Natasha Pyle (Dan) of McPherson, Rowdy Lewallen of Encinitas, Rosalyn Lillis (Helm) of Kansas City, Summer Lewallen of Livingston, Sierra Patterson of Livingston, Shandra Karo (Julius) of Houston and Joey Lewallen of Wellington. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m., Thursday, February 4, 2021 with the family present from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. Please adhere to the current public gathering guidelines by wearing a face mask when in attendance.
A memorial has been established in his name and loving memory with Interim Hospice, 105 South Washington Avenue, Wellington, Kansas 67152.
