With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sydney Emerson of Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on February 14, 2022 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sydney Emerson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Y. "Junior" Emerson and Marjorie Emerson (Hooper); his brother Michael Emerson; his fiancée Ann Zech-Barnes; and his great grandchild Parker Lee.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Emerson of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Jayme Lowe (Kevin) of Wellington, Kansas and Jessica Kreiner (Matthew) of Ft. Worth; his grandchildren, Meredith Lee (Shawn), Lauren Heuston (Kiefer), Mitchell Lowe, Jace Lowe, Abby Lowe, Derrick Lowe and Cameron Kreiner; his great grandchildren, Preston Lee, Maycee Lee, Madden Murray and Maverick Heuston; and his nieces, Natalie Emerson, Heather Billings and Lindsay Smith.

Memorial contributions can be given in his name to the Avenue of Flags or the Wellington Masonic Lodge No. 150 AF&AM.
