He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Etter (Day) and James H. Etter; and his son John Etter. He is survived by: his wife Janice Etter; his son Kenny Etter; his grandsons, Jon Etter, Hunter Etter and Bailey Etter; his great grandchildren, Elliot and Violet; his siblings, Jack (Brenda) and Jeannie Etter Murray (Rod Lewellen); his cousin Wayne Etter (Poke); and his close friend Dr. Steven Skaggs (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his loving memory with Ducks Unlimited Inc.
