It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Jerald Ross of Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Franklin and Ardella Margaret Ross (Lindley); his wife Janice Darlene Barry; his siblings, Evelyn, Judy, Calvin and Don; and his grandson Kevin Yates.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Yates (Randy) of Gray Tennessee, JoAnn Kogle (Rob) of Wellington, Kansas and Jim Ross (Princess) of Mayfield, Kansas; and his grandchildren, David Yates, Jennifer Holyfield (Chase), Christy, Mandy Yates, Austin Kogle (Tish), Kailey Jones (Aaron), Robin Franke Nate Ross (Dustin) and John Ross. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Wellington Baptist Temple.
