She is survived by: her husband Rodney Torneden of Wellington; her children, Casey Torneden (Sabrina) of Wellington, Tonya Bernd (Rick) of Belle Plaine, KS and Fether Elder (Daniel) of Neodesha, KS; her mother Mary Ridinger of Lawrence, KS; her siblings, Morris Archuleta of Kansas City, MO, Charles Ridinger of Lawrence, KS, Valerie Cheek and Sharon White; and her grandchildren, Rosalyn Bernd, Josiah Elder, Reagan Bernd, Tannen Bernd, Jordann Elder, Dane Torneden, Owen Torneden and Jade Elder.
A memorial has been established with the Make A Wish Foundation in lieu of flowers.
