She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Cultra and Annette "Nettie" Cultra (Smith); and her grandson Christopher Bales. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Bales of Wellington; and her children, Janice Dixon (David) of Wichita, KS, Jeannie Weber (Dale) of Wellington, Jim Bales (Sunni) of Wellington, Julie Buresh of Wichita and John Bales (Neta) of Wellington. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
