We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2022, at the age of 71, Richard Eugene Scobee of Welda, Kansas, born in Garnett, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scobee (Jack) and Vera Scobee (Ward); his wife Dixie Scobee; his daughter Stephanie Machelle Scobee; his granddaughter Theresa Ochweri; and his brother Roland Scobee.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Scobee (Candra) of Lyons, Robin Bliss of Halstead, R'Donna Riri of Ottawa and Jill Ochweri (Hezron) of Wichita, Kansas; his grandchildren, Wendell, Wrikin, Kenton, Kassidy, Oceana, Kieara, Camron, Zakayo, Virginia, Jasira, Jayden, Abigael and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Sandra, Xiomara and Calvin; and his sister Ruth Kaufman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Welda Community Building or to the Welda Fire Department.
