Verla Newton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla Newton (Wathena, Kansas), born in Murray, Iowa, who passed away on April 19, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elroy Hiskey and Hattie Belle Hiskey (Palmer); her husband Roy Newton; her siblings, Edward, Walter, Galen, Wayne Hiskey, Florence Cunningham, Mary Iva Banks and Marie Falkenbach; her son-in-law Leonard Snodgrass; her grandchild Rynita Reiling; and her great grandchildren, Miranda Clary and Hawkins.
She is survived by: her grandchild Enjoyed; her children, David Newton (Kassie), Barbara Cardwell, Carolyn Schultz (Ronald), Dianna Shellenberger (Steve) and LaDonna Snodgrass; and her sister Laura Ripper. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchild & numerous nieces & nephews.
