He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Redmond and Myrtle Redmond (Jones); his sisters, Virginia Redmond and Betty Blair; and his brother-in-law Richard Johnson.

He is survived by: his spouse Almeda Ruark; his children, Larry Redmond II and Renee Clary (Jeff) of Troy; his grandchildren, Bailey Freeman (Adam), Brooke Scott (Matt), Amanda Clary (Jared Deeken) and Aimee Clary; and his sisters, Darlyne Johnson of Bendena, Lois Waldron (Leroy) and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
