He is survived by: his children, Deborah Parker (Gene), Frederick Smith (Cindy), Timothy Smith (Lisa) and Kevin Smith (Linda); and his siblings, Shirley Owen (Bud), Dorothy Aeschliman and Dennis Smith (Mary Jo). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
