She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George W. A. and Rhoda V. Stansell (Bowman); her husband Wayne Delbert Sweet; her children, Russell Sweet (Connie) of Garfield, Wesley Strange of Goodland, Delbert Sweet (Denise) of Holton and Kim Stevenson (David) of Riley; her sisters, Kay Emmerich (Tom) of Lawrence, Jean Langworthy of Washington State and Rita Navinskey of Nortonville; her siblings-in-law, Georgia Stansell of Lecompton, Linda Stansell of Valley Falls and Don Schuler of Nortonville; her siblings, Frank Stansell, Jim Stansell, George Stansell, Luther Stansell, Alpha Cohoon, Eva Lee Whitecotton and Margaret Schuler; and her sister-in-law Jeannette Stansell. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
