It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicki Lynn Slater (Washington, Kansas), who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer "Bud" Olandt and Gertrude "Gertie" Olandt (Lardner). She is survived by: her son Justin; her husband William "Bill" Slater; her sister Carol Scheer (Tony); her sisters-in-law, Gail Naylor (Tom) and Janet Slater (Dan Hargens) of Champaign, IL; her nephews, Michael Scheer (Cynthia), Mitchell Scheer (Amanda) of Troy, NC, Brett Naylor and Brandon Naylor of Washington, D. C.; and her niece Monica Scheer.
A memorial fund is established to the Kansas State University Marching Band.
