He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Wells and Lillie O. Wells (Green); his wife Marjorie; his daughter Nancy Lee Wells; and his siblings, Lyle R. Wells, Guy J. Wells, Blaine Wells, Opal Marie Wells and Orle Belle Prellwitz.
He is survived by: his children, Phil F. Wells (Marjorie), Newton, Mike D. Wells (Maureen), Maribeth Brown (Samuel), Kitty Jo Holland (Andrew) and Russell. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
