Maxine Stewart Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Stewart of Washington, Kansas, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Stewart to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Warnica and Edna M. Warnica (McConchie); her husband Neal; her daughter Patricia Olmstead; her granddaughter Sarah Olmstead; and her siblings, Evelyn Mary Barnes, Etta Mae Parthemer, Elma Mable Hough, Ella Marie Gough, Eldana Marcine Ferguson, Elaine Marjorie Thompson, Elizabeth Madge Warnica and Emmett Marvin Warnica.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra (Perry); her son-in-law Chuck Olmstead of Las Lunas, NM; her brother Robert William Warnica (Nelda); her granddaughters, Heather Flory (Kyle) of Overbrook, KS and Jaime Terry (Luke) of Robinson, KS; and her great grandchildren, Alexa, Ben, Zach, Abby Olmstead and Miah Terry.

She was also involved with the Priscilla Club until it dissolved, Washington County Historical Society, RSVP, and Red Hatters.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.
