It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverta King (Washington, Kansas), who passed away on January 18, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Mooren and Freida Mooren; and her sister Patricia "Patty" Hynek. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, Brend King (Kathy), Wathena, Michael King (Stacey) and Shawnee; her siblings, Bertie Slater (Don) of Morrowville and Jim Mooren of Morrowville; and her grandchildren, Johanna King (Kurt Foley), Nathan King (Lauren), Skyler King and Makayla King. She is also survived by Grandma Dee was very involved with her kids and grandkids.
