He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Wiemers and Edna Wiemers (Ohlde); and his brother Daryl Wiemers. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bierbaum; his children, Bryan Wiemers (Linda), Augusta, John Wiemers (Kayla Wilson), Scott Wiemers (Elizabeth Hunter), Sheryl Wiemers (Jase), Christina Murdock (Steve) of Beatrice, NE and Michele Wiemers (Ron Disney); his brothers, Keith Wiemers and Delwin (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Bierbaum of Dalhart, TX and Arlene Miller (Melvyn). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is established to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour or Linn Community Nursing Home.
