It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilda M. Shannon of Washington, Kansas, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredoline Brungardt and Barbara Brungardt (Dinkel); her husband Danny Shannon; her grandson Nicholas Shannon; her siblings, Leona Ouellette, Martina Brungardt, Alvin Brungardt and Marvin Brungardt; and her siblings-in-law, Delphos Ouellette, Marilyn Brungardt and Janice Brungardt.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Welch (Larry) and Tom Shannon; her brother Melvin Brungardt; her grandchildren, Trisha Parrack (Chad), Kimberly Kamphaus (Don), Jeffery Welch and Monica Shannon Smith; and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Kyleigh, Aaron, Gage, Megan, Ashlyn and Jaden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
