He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Scheetz and Beulah Scheetz (Windhorst); his siblings, John, Robert, William, Norman, Herald, Jerald, Ruth and Beth; and his grandchildren, Megan and Christopher Scheetz.

He is survived by: his wife Zetta; his sons, Lacy Scheetz (Janeen), Rowlett, Tex and Tracy Scheetz (Twila) of Fairbury, Neb.; his grandchildren, Kyra, Kayli, Britney and Brigham; and his siblings, Marilyn Linhardt, Edward Scheetz, Waukesha and Wis.
