Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy McCarty of Washington, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 90, on November 20, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Haney and Neta Haney (Kingsbury); her husband Donovan L. McCarty; her brother Philip Haney; and her sister-in-law Glorine Haney.
She is survived by: her sons, Donovan L. McCarty II (Mac) of Belleville and Gary L. McCarty of Belleville. She is also survived by her many cousins and extended family, and a community of friends.
Persons attending the services are requested to wear masks or other facial coverings, and to practice social distancing at all times.
Memorials are requested to the North Central Kansas Health Care Foundation, the Courtland High School Alumni Association or the Centennial Homestead of Washington, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
