Carol A. Stamm Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol A. Stamm of Washington, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chopp and Rosemary Chopp (Baxa); her in-laws, Lloyd and Irene Stamm; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Rosenkranz, Marcia Chopp and Ron Rosenkranz.
She is survived by: her husband Gary; her daughter Tricia Strathman (Eric) of Lenexa, KS; her grandchildren, Allison, Kristen and Erica; her son Kevin Stamm (Marie) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Benjamin, Katherine and Joseph; her son Mike Stamm (Jessica) of Manhattan, KS; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Levi, Lydia and Timothy; her daughter Lori Kopp (Brian) of Overland Park, KS; her grandsons, Ethan, Andrew and Jacob; and her siblings, Paul Chopp of Munden, KS and Marilyn Strodtman (Bill) of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by four nieces, three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Ward Funeral Home (115 W 2nd St, Washington, KS 66968). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home (115 W 2nd St, Washington, KS 66968). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Augustine Catholic Church (410 B St, Washington, KS 66968).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society in care of the Hope Lodge of Omaha, NE.
