He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert H. and Bernice Axelton Carnahan; his siblings, Quentin and Janice; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Marr, Bill Latta and Glenn Bellah.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Scott Carnahan (Jodi), Brian Carnahan (Karen), San Francisco and Sheryl Wohler (Brian); his sister Nancy Latta; his grandchildren, Jamie, Jennie, Quin Parker (Genevieve), Zac Carnahan, Amanda Elias (Matt), Alyssa Carnahan, Cara Lanterman (Brandon), Reade, Sam and Claire Wohler; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor Elias, Margaret Elias and Adrienne Lanterman.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church of Wamego or Good Shepherd Hospice house, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home.
