With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Simmer (Wamego, Kansas), who passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank J. Simmer and Cecelia F. Simmer (Umscheid); his spouse Elaine Ann Junod; his children, Frank Simmer, Tom Simmer (Maxine) of Hiawatha, KS, Pat Simmer (Sandy) of Wamego, KS and Coleen Falk of Alma, KS; his siblings, Donna Jean Johnson of Wamego, KS and John Simmer of Wamego, KS; his grandchildren, Shawn, Chad, Josh, Jared, Robin, Heath, Luke, Colby and Dalton; his sons, Mike Simmer and Ed Simmer; his son-in-law Mark Falk; and his siblings, Joann, Jerry, Jimmy, Betty and Bill.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to Kansas Honor Flight-Wamego High School, and may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, PO Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
