He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertille Zimmerling (Kohl) and Walter O. Zimmerling. He is survived by: his wife Barb; and his children, Shelby Lagerquist (Jon) of Wamego, Kerri Zimmerling and Jim Zimmerling (Hannah) of Berthoud, CO.. He is also survived by 6 sisters, 5 brothers and 3 grandchildren.

The family requests any donations be directed to Good Shepherd Home Care and Hospice; 3801 Vanesta Dr., Manhattan, Kansas 66503.
