Melody F. Rutschmann Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melody F. Rutschmann of Wamego, Kansas, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Charles III. She is survived by: her mother Fredele "Ruth" Lake III (Kensing) of Alma, KS; her husband Jim C. Rutschmann; her children, Josh Lake (Stephanie) of Golden Valley, MN, Sam Rutschmann (Amy Miernicki) of Wamego and Jennifer Rutschmann (Marshall Musser) of Wamego; her grandchildren, Zayne Reed, Henry Lake, Elizabeth Lake, Reese Musser and Tripp Musser; and her siblings, John Schoenberner, Charles "Charlie" Lake IV (Mary), Angie Harrison and Charmin Miller (Dan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital and those may be sent to Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home, P. O. Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
