She was predeceased by: her parents, Laverne Stansbury and Carol Payne Stansbury; her husband Henry John "Hank" Piper; her daughter Victoria; and her brothers, Larry and Rick Stansbury.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Piper (Renee), Doug Piper (Michelle) and Travis Piper (Karen); her grandchildren, Bryan Piper (Melinda), Todd Piper (Lindsay), Dexter Piper (Bethany), Derek Piper, Jacob Piper, Brody Piper, Morgan Piper, Kaitlyn Piper and Logan Piper; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Haley; and her brother Jim Stansbury (Fran).

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Marilyn Piper Memorial Fund and those may be sent in care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home.
