He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schultz and Selma Schultz (Steinmeyer); his family Carol; his wife Carol Rae Muckenthaler; his stepmother Sophia Schultz; and his siblings, Willis Schultz and Virgie Schultz Kaul.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Lind (Richard) and Lucinda Smith (Ken); his grandchildren, Jason Lind (Hollie), Rachael Peterson (Jared), Erin Frank, Autumn Schuck (Tim), Leah Hermesch (Darrin) and Elyse Appenfeller; his great grandchildren, Marinna Albaradei (Alex), Cedric, Charlee, Connor Lind, Malerie, Wylan Peterson, Sophia, Sam Frank, Colin, Brooklyn Schuck, Anna, Emma, Olivia Hermesch and Amelia Appenfeller-Cruz; his great great grandchildren, Aniya and Ezra Albaradei; and his brother Cleo Schultz (Julie).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (218 W 2nd St, Alma, KS 66401). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
